The Department of Sports adheres to the education guiding ideology of“health first”and earnestly implements the School Sports Work Regulations. The college attaches great importance to school sports work. With the sound organization and management, sports work is flourishing in recent years.  

The Department of Sports is mainly responsible for the teaching tasks of the physical education curriculum, as well as after-school training, mass sports, and scientific research. It has complete sports facilities, including standard track and field courts, basketball courts, football courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, gymnasiums, rock climbing, aerobics rooms and other sports teaching and management facilities. At present, the total outdoor sports area is 54996㎡, and the average outdoor sports area per student reaches 5㎡. The total indoor sports area reaches 5657㎡, and the average indoor sports area per student reaches 0.51㎡. At the same time, the school will continue to build field survival facilities. All these modern sports venues have provided high-quality fitness services for teachers and students, which can basically guarantee routine teaching, extracurricular sports activities, and undertake the needs of organizing competitions at municipal and provicial level.
