Ⅲ.Application Eligibility

1.Non-Chinese National with a valid passport in compliance with the provisions of Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China;

2.Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent;

3. Applicants should be at the age of 18 - 22 years old with good self-discipline and interpersonal skills for independent living and studying;

4.Enough financial support from family to afford tuition and living cost;

5. Applicants should be interested in learning Chinese and other related majors, as well as knowing about Chinese society, economy and culture;

6. Applicants should meet the following language proficiency requirements:

（1）* Chinese-taught programs: HSK4 or above;

* English-taught program: IELTS 5.0 or above；

（2）To those who are unable to provide proof of language proficiency can apply for Chinese Language Program. Applicants can apply for Diploma Program after obtaining HSK4.

7. Applicants should comply with Chinese laws, regulations and rules and hold the Non-criminal Record Certificate.

Ⅳ. Required Documents

1. Original and notarized copy of high school diploma and transcripts for all the courses;

2. Clear scan copy of passport front page (the validity period of the passport should be 3 years or above);

3. Foreigner Physical Examination Form;

4. Scanned copy of the last visa/residence permit page and the entry and exit information page in China;

5. Original and notarized copy of Non-Criminal Record Certificate;

6. Financial Guarantee Letter or bank statement of financial guarantor (A copy of guarantor’s valid identity documents should be attached)

7. A 2-inch, white background , bareheaded, full-faced photo (electronic photo).

8. The HSK4 transcript or the English Proficiency Certificate (equivalent to IELTS5.0 ) should be provided for the application of diploma program.

Note:

* Documents should be in English/Chinese or supplemented by notarized English/Chinese translations.

* Scanned copies of the above information must be submitted during the application process and original copies of the above information must be submitted during enrollment and registration. Please note that all documents submitted will not be returned.  

Ⅴ. Application Process

1. Online application visit http://lxs.jscc.edu.cn/, complete online application as required;

2. Admission office reviews the applicant materials;

3. Conduct pre-admission inspections on applicants through online interviews;

4. Admission office sends a scanned copy of "Admission Notice" to applicants who are accepted;

5. Enrolled students shall remit the 500 RMB registration fee to our school account within 7 working days, and send the scanned copy of the remittance receipt to the admission email 307983982@qq.com;

6.  After confirming receipt of the registration fee, admission office will send the "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China" (JW202 Form) via EMS/ DHL to the applicants;

7. Applicants apply for long-term student visa (X1 Visa) in the Chinese embassies abroad with the "Admission Notice", " Foreigner Physical Examination Form " and " Visa Application Form for Study in China "; 

8. International students need to present the "Admission Notice" and the originals of relevant materials to school on time. Those who are unable to enroll on time should submit an extension application to the Foreign Affairs Office of the college. The application will be valid after approval. The extension of time is generally no more than two weeks. Those who fail to apply or are overdue for over two weeks will be deemed to have given up their admission qualifications except for legitimate reasons such as force majeure;

9. Application and admission materials will be reviewed when international students arrive. They need to pay all fees within 7 working days after arriving at the school, and then the school will provide the materials required for the residence permit application;

10. Physical examination;

11. Take entrance examination for testing applicant's language proficiency and learning ability;

12. Student registration.

Applications are accepted all year round. The recommended application period is from Mar.1st, 2022 to Jul.31th, 2022.

JSCC offers scholarship to the international students with good academic performance.

Note:

1.At the end of the academic year, the scholarship evaluation will be conducted based on the students' daily performance and final exam results.

2. Language students do not enjoy this scholarship standard. Applicants who continue to receive academic education in our school after language study enjoy this scholarship standard.

3. NOT eligible for scholarship evaluation

(1) receive criminal or administrative penalties for violating Chinese laws and regulations;

(2) given a punishment of warning or above for violating school disciplines and regulations;

(3) fail the academic evaluation
