The School of Architectural Art focuses on planning and designing high-quality living environments at the forefront of urban-rural construction. It supports national strategies such as new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization. The school offers nine three-year higher vocational programs: Architectural Design, Interior Architectural Design, Architectural Decoration Engineering Technology, Ancient Architecture Engineering Technology, Environmental Art Design (Art), Digital Media Art Design (Art), Geomatics and Geographic Information Technology, UAV Surveying Technology, and UAV Application Technology. It houses seven specialized teaching and research sections—Architectural Design, Interior Design, Architectural Decoration, Ancient Architecture, Environmental Art, Digital Media, and Geomatics—along with one Surveying Teaching and Research Group. Since 2020, the Architectural Design program has participated in the provincial-level high-quality professional cluster for Engineering Cost. In 2021, Ancient Architecture Engineering Technology joined the college-level key professional cluster for Landscape Engineering Technology. In 2022, the school established a college-level key professional cluster comprising Architectural Design, Interior Architectural Design, Environmental Art Design, and Digital Media Art Design.
The school currently has 2,840 full-time students and 85 faculty members, including 1 professor, 10 associate professors, 2 PhD holders (including candidates), 1 Jiangsu Craftsman, 4 National Technical Experts, 1 provincial-level outstanding teaching team, 1 provincial-level research team, and 1 member of the Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Steering Committee. Additionally, 55 faculty are dual-qualified (academically and technically). Over 50 industry professionals serve as adjunct faculty, including 2 provincial-level industry professors and 5 master technicians. Administrative leadership includes 1 Party branch secretary, 1 dean, 1 deputy secretary (student affairs), and 2 vice deans. The administrative structure comprises a General Office led by 1 director, supported by 20 staff members handling organization, administration, academic affairs, practical training coordination, and student counseling.
